Refrigerated trailers are unique spaces. They can provide the perfect temporary solution for your refrigerated needs. Whether it be for cold room breakdowns at school, colleges, hotels, restaurants, factories, etc. The refrigerated trailer units offer a versatile cold storage solution for parties, events, weddings, festivals and much more. With single electric plug power or through a mobile generator you just simply plug and go.
Based in Sawbridgeworth and Cambridge with easy access to M11, M25, A11 and A14 we cover the east England and even beyond. Our van and trailer fleet come fully serviced, hygienically cleaned and the reliable units are at your service 24/7.
How do I make a booking?
Fill out an enquiry form and we will get straight back, however if you prefer to chat, give us a call and we can go through any queries you have. Upon booking a £75 non-refundable deposit to required, then full payment for the rental (minus the deposit) is required. We will send you a confirmation email to sure everything up.
You will need to consider a couple of items, but we will walk you through an easy step by step booking process. Everything we can think of to make this a stress free, reliable, and friendly service is at the core of our thought process.
A £300 security deposit is also required on the day, we will pace a hold on your card and it’s released immediately upon collection.
Once booked you just need to sit back, relax and let Alley Cat do the rest.
Frequently Asked Questions
We offer free delivery within a 15 mile radius for 3+day rentals. Otherwise, our team will provide you with a quotation based on the distance and time you require the delivery.
We now offer 2 sizes, 3m & 4.1m interior lengths.
Also don’t forget about our refrigerated van fleet!
The sizes for the trailer are:
3.0m
External: 4.69m Long x 2.3m Wide x 2.6m High
Internal: 2.85m Long x 1.55m Wide x 1.82m High
4.1m
External: 5.7m Long x 2.4m Wide x 2.75m High
Internal: 4.1 Long x 1.95m Wide x 1.65m High
The chiller will need 1-2 hours once plugged-in so do allow for this, also if your product isn’t already chilled then allow time for the product to reach your desired temperature for best results plan at least 24 hours.
A standard 240v domestic plug is all you need, we supply a standard 10m extension cable. However a 25m cable is available on request. You can use a generator with a min 5kva output power rating too.
The trailer is set up and fitted with anti-theft heel and jockey locks to which the driver will have the keys. If the trailer needs to be moved after setup a fee will apply to return and move it.
